About the Podcast

Preservation Destination is a podcast created and hosted by Taylor Voltz based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Recognizing a need for preservation conversations outside of academic and professional circles, Preservation Destination was created to provide quality preservation content to all types of listeners. By listening to the podcast you will hear leading experts in various fields discuss how preservation is truly multigenerational and an important part of everyday life. 

About the Host

Hailing from Atlanta, Taylor moved to New Orleans in 2009 to pursue a graduate degree in Historic Preservation from Tulane University. She developed a passion for preservation while earning her undergraduate degree in American History. She loves cemeteries, architecture and cats. In her spare time she likes to explore New Orleans, try new restaurants with her husband and read all the books.
